An August wedding at Triloga.

I can remember sitting on my balcony overlooking my olive groves here in Corfu on the day that Claire inquired about my services. The cicadas were busy making their rhythmic calls, and I felt so relaxed sipping on my Freddo Espresso that I knew that this wedding was going to be perfect in every way. Even from the first phone call with Claire and Dylan, we hit it off; it's so important to me that every one of my clients becomes a sort of friend of mine, and with total Gavin and Stacey vibes, we just couldn't not!

And so began an incredible day. Claire loved pampas grass, so with white roses, olive branches and eucalyptus leaves, with highlights of creamy pampers grass intertwined throughout, Claires dreamy vision of a boho wedding came true.

This was a small wedding, with just 45 guests, and a real mixture of adults and children. And anyone that knows me knows how much I truly love small weddings. The intimacy of the day paramounts, knowing that you really do have your absolute nearest and dearest with you to celebrate the best day of your life. Who would want anything else?

Claire and Dylan really loved Triloga Plous as it fitted what they wanted to the T: a complete "one stop shop" as you say, where they could have their ceremony down on the beach, with a drinks reception to follow and a 3 course meal, all in one breath-taking location.

Sadly, Triloga was out of budget for Claire & Dylan....

But of course, the people pleaser in me shone through yet again...

And so here is Claire & Dylan's beautiful ceremony at Triloga Plous!

Claire & Dylan, like many of my clients, wanted to keep some Greek traditions for their day, so we suggested a traditional Greek mariachi band to serenade them as Claire walked down to the beach to meet her husband to be. The aisle was laid with our own in-house white carpet, and our white ceremony chairs facing out to sea for our guests to be seated upon to watch this incredible ceremony to unfold.

And so once this beautiful symbolic ceremony came to an end, all the guests headed up to the Triloga Plous decking area for welcome drinks, Prosecco and canapés, whilst the Greek musicians continued to play their wonderful sounds of music.

As the golden Corfiot sun began to set on this wonderful day, I loved taking a backseat and seeing the smiles on everyone's faces, the joy of the day evident in every corner of this wonderful venue. The paramount thank you's that I have received for being able to make Claire's dream venue a reality makes every second worth while.

When they say that if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life.

Well best believe, I wont be retiring any time soon.

Thank you Claire and Dylan for trusting me with the best day of your lives, and im so overjoyed that together we made all your dreams come true🤍
