An August wedding in a Little White Church & a Vineyard.

Back in the Summer of 2021, I received a phone call, the area code stating the call was coming in all the way from Singapore! Tania & Stelios already had a strong idea of how they wanted their day to go, and needed my help to bring everything together for them from across the seas. They needed someone with the knowledge and patience to be able to finalise and coordinate the day on their behalf, here in Corfu. We got in to excitedly discussing all their plans and ideas for the day, and I became even more excited when I learned that this would be my first full Greek wedding to organise... no pressure!

And so began a simply stunning day. Tania's vision for her day was pure romance: white roses, gypsophila and olive branches intertwined with eucalyptus leaves.

Tania & Stelios both fell in love with Ypanti, a little white church I introduced them to here on Corfu Island, which is arguably the most popular and stunningly picturesque church on the whole island.

And understandably so. Surrounded by calm crystal waters and lush tropical greenery, the church literally leads out into the sea.

The most idyllic little white church for a picture perfect day.

As this was a Greek wedding, all of the Greek traditions were kept; an Orthodox priest blessing and marrying our lovely couple, throwing of the rice after the ceremony and traditional Greek music.

Tania loves home made lemonade, so I pulled out all the stops to provide her with a homemade lemonade stand for the day! Every one of their guests were served an ice cold glass of fresh, homemade lemonade which went down a real treat. Hot weather and a Greek wedding is thirsty work.

Both Tania & Stelios had their hearts set on a quaint and simply stunning vineyard for their reception venue. The people pleaser in me came out once again, and I made sure that they locked in the vineyard for their dream day. Ambelonas is one of the prettiest, picturesque places in Corfu, and as soon as I had spoken to them on the phone, I knew that it would suit their charming personalities to the T. And it certainly did not disappoint. With a rustic allure with its hanging vines and potted herbs, and an aroma that is simply hypnotising, it was a perfect place to celebrate the union of Tania & Stelios.

After a few stunning romantic portraits by the couples chosen photographer, everyone headed to the Vineyard for the evening reception.

Tania loved my little table set up with the Instax polaroid cameras for the guests to leave a photo and a message for them in their wedding book. The night continued on with the most beautiful first dance leading on to the evening party. The ambience of Ambelonas in the evening was so romantic, with the warm summers evening breeze gently blowing through the vines and flowers, bringing with it the sweetest subtlest aromas. The string lights and Greek music really added to the scene. It just couldn't have been more perfect.

Tania & Stelios. My first Greek couple and full Greek wedding. And a day that I will truly never forget. It was an absolute pleasure being by your side throughout and bringing all the little pieces together to make your dream day come true. Thank you for trusting me with this process.

Your smiles made every second worth it.
